What is Shock Media?
Get real-world sports media experience while helping tell the story of Shock Elite Academy. Shock Elite Media is a hands-on opportunity for college students interested in sports media, communications, marketing, journalism, photography, videography, content creation, or sports management. Participants will work alongside Shock Elite Academy throughout the season to help capture our athletes, coaches, families, community impact, and overall program experience.
What You'll Do:
Depending on your interests and experience, Shock Media students may assist with:
- Game-day photography and videography
- Player and coach interviews
- Social media content and short-form video
- Tournament and event coverage
- Highlight reels and player features
- Graphics and promotional content
- Website and newsletter content
- Community service and special-event coverage
- Behind-the-scenes storytelling
- Content planning and digital marketing
Who We're Looking For:
- We are currently seeking college students who are dependable, creative, professional, and interested in gaining practical experience in the sports industry.
- Students studying or interested in areas such as Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Film, Photography, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or Business are encouraged to apply.
- Previous sports media experience is helpful, but not required.
- We are especially interested in students who are willing to learn, take initiative, meet deadlines, and consistently contribute throughout the season.
