Shock Elite 2027 Tryouts & Season Information

New for 2026–27: A Team Model Built for Every Level

This season, Shock Elite is introducing a three-tier team model: Blue, Green, and Black.

The change allows us to place athletes on teams based on their current development, competitive readiness, and the level of commitment that is the best fit for them. Instead of every team following the same tournament schedule and cost structure, each level will have a different competition schedule and season fee.

All three levels are part of Shock Elite. Blue, Green, and Black are not separate programs—they are different pathways within our organization designed to give players an appropriate opportunity to develop, compete, and grow.

Tryouts — Sunday, October 4

• Elementary School: 1:00–2:30 PM
• Middle School: 2:30–4:00 PM

Team Placement

• Players will be evaluated during tryouts and placed at the level our coaching staff believes will provide the best environment for their development and success.
• Team placement will consider skill level, basketball IQ, effort, coach-ability, competitiveness, positional needs, and overall team fit.
• Our goal with the new model is simple: meet players where they are while giving them somewhere to grow.

Registration + Signing Day

• Signing Day is November 1.
• Following team placement announcements, selected players will receive a registration link. Families will have two weeks to complete registration, and a $275 security deposit must be submitted by November 1 to secure the player’s roster spot for the season.
• The $275 deposit will be applied toward the player’s total season membership fee.
• Save $50 — Pay in Full
• Families who pay their full season membership fee by November 1 will receive a $50 early-payment discount.

Flexible Payment Options

We understand that youth sports can be a significant financial commitment. Families will have access to:

● Monthly payment plans (Blue: $115, Green: $125, Black: $135; starting Jan 1)

● Quarterly payment plans

● Fundraising opportunities

Our first fundraiser of the season will directly help participating families reduce their remaining Shock Elite membership fees.
